How to select CHZIRI VFD?

VFD——Variable frequency drive is used to control and drive the speed of the motor .

The following have some tips for clients to select the suitable CHZIRI VFD.

According to the load characteristics, choose the type of frequency inverter. lf the load is constant torque load, Please choose the general VFD. lf the load is fan,pump load, please choose fan, pump frequency inverter. Because for the fan, the pump load, the torque will increase as the speed increase, But the torque is small when it start up.

Confirm the motor voltage level and motor power. 

Confirm the application type 

> Light load, keep the same power as the motor label .
> Heavy load, Put one or two sizes bigger .

Check current 
Final Decision condition: normal running current > selected VFD rated current x 1.1? 

> Yes, increase the power of VFD; 
> No, keep the original selection. 

Check the temperature and altitude 

> Temperature should be -10~50 degree; 
> Altitude should be less than 1000m, otherwise think about derating. 

Stop mode confirmation

> Fast stop, needs additional braking system (Braking Unit and Braking Resistor); 
> Normal stop, no need additional braking system. 

Peripheral devices

> Input reactor, remover harmonics, avoid surge current etc. 
> Output reactor, if the motor cable's length longer than 50m. 
> Sine wave filter .If the motor is longer than100 meters . You must install the sine wave filter .
> The input and output EMI filters are used to minimize the magnetic or radio frequency interference (RFI) produced by the network or the inverter.
> DC choke, increase the power factor.
